The role:
You’ll be providing hands-on HR support across the full employee life cycle, from recruitment and on boarding, to performance, development, and off boarding. You’ll play a key role in keeping HR processes running smoothly and ensuring policies are applied consistently across the business. Day-to-day, this could include:
Supporting recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
Managing on boarding for new starters, ensuring all paperwork, system access, and inductions run smoothly.
Assisting with performance management and development processes, including probation reviews, appraisals, and training records.
Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, responding promptly and escalating issues as needed.
Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including return-to-work interviews, absence management, and probation monitoring.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems and internal databases.
Running reports from HR systems to support decision-making and compliance.
Assisting with payroll administration, employee benefits, and incentive schemes.
Drafting and issuing HR correspondence, such as contract changes, probation outcomes, and policy updates.
Supporting HR projects and initiatives, such as well being programs, engagement activities, or process improvements.
Helping ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, including right-to-work checks and GDPR requirements.
What we’re looking for:
CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent experience.
Experience in an HR admin role and a good understanding of HR processes and employment law.
Organised, adaptable, and detail-focused.
Confident and professional communicator with a friendly approach.
Comfortable handling confidential information and using HR systems and Microsoft Office
