To achieve targets set for sales revenue on parcels, sales activity, profitability and product mix at the Sales Executives designated location and in line with DHL eCommerce UK expectations and performance targets.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Parcel & Revenue Generation
o Find new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, driver referrals.
o Carry out scheduled visits to decision makers in prospect companies using learned skills and personal knowledge and experience.
o Negotiate terms, pricing and conditions to deals whilst ensuring healthy margin and profile mix.
o Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
* Relationship Building
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers helping to foster repeat business and referrals.
o Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
* Reporting & Performance Tracking
o Keep all customer records up-to-date within Salesforce CRM.
o Regularly assess and report on pipeline progress and revenue forecasts.
o Regularly assess and report on sales activity & conversion rates to identify areas of opportunity.
o Ensure weekly activity is in line with the activity targets as outlined on the weekly sales report. Participate in the weekly/daily briefings and update your weekly forecast.
o Ensure that all account opening procedures are adhered to.
* Collaboration
o Attend sales/ops meetings as required.
o Attend sales team meetings and other similar meetings as may be dictated by the needs of the business. Present on activity, prospects, results and profitability for your sales territory.
o Attend any meetings or training courses as required by the Company.
* Client Retention
o Ensure all areas have been met in order for the account to be handed over to a FAM, providing feedback to ensure account success.
o Maintain liaison with operational management and customer services departments regarding customer service issues. Flag at‑risk accounts to the local Franchisee or Corporate location manager.

Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role, specifically regarding account management and new business sales.
* More than 2 years' experience.
* Experience working within the parcel delivery sector is a distinct advantage.
