The role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager for a temporary holiday cover contract basin Kingston Upon Thames.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
* Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
* Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
* Ensure quality standards are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
* Valid SMSTS certificate.
* Valid CSCS card.
* First Aid at Work qualification.
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
Desirable
* Experience in residential, commercial, refurbishment, or fit-out projects.
* Relevant construction management qualification (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent).
