Our client, a highly respected Professional Body based in Belfast City Centre, is seeking to appoint an experienced Personal Assistant to provide end-to-end support to the Head of Professional Conduct. This is a pivotal role requiring the highest levels of discretion, professionalism, and organisational skill.

* Job Title: Personal Assistant
* Location: Belfast City Centre
* Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Reporting to: Head of Professional Conduct
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and organise the Head of Professional Conduct’s busy diary with tact and diplomacy.
* Act as first point of contact, handling queries and correspondence efficiently.
* Provide support with presentations and projects of a complex, sensitive and confidential nature – including data gathering, research, and the preparation of high-quality reports and PowerPoint presentations.
* Support Committees through full administration, including:
o Preparing and distributing agendas and papers
o Recording attendance and transcribing minutes
o Booking meeting rooms
o Processing expenses and reports
o Ensuring timely follow-up actions in line with Society protocols.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum of five years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or in a senior support role, reporting directly to senior management within a private/public sector organisation or professional body.
* Proven experience of handling sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
* Strong background in administration/secretarial support at senior level, with responsibility for prioritising and managing workloads.
* High level of competence in using and developing Audio-Visual platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar).
* Demonstrated ability to support presentations and projects, often within challenging timeframes.
Desirable
* Experience of working within a professional membership organisation or legal/professional services environment.
