Java Full Stack Developer (Front End Focused)
1-Year Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
Manchester (3 Days Office/2 Days Remote)

A well-established IT firm is looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join a high-profile banking client. While this role covers the full stack, we are looking for a candidate with a strong emphasis on Front End development to contribute to a large-scale development project.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications from the UI to the database.
* Front End Focus: Create sophisticated user interfaces and layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React or Angular).
* Back End Development: Develop Server Side logic, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
* Database Management: Design and work with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases and ORMs.
* Quality Control: Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
* Agile Collaboration: Work with designers, product owners, and other developers in a fast-paced Scrum environment
Essential Skills
* Proven expertise in Architecture Patterns and Styles and Java.
* Advanced proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
* Deep experience with Spring/Spring Boot and Front End frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
* Strong experience in RESTful API development and consumption.
* Familiarity with Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
