Your Role We are looking for a Business Administrator to join our Belfast team on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role will provide key support to the business during the implementation of SAP and will play a vital part in ensuring seamless operations across multiple functions. Responsibilities The Business Administrator will support all aspects of the business, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations throughout the SAP implementation period. This role will be pivotal in maintaining excellent service levels for Dublin’s customers while providing administrative and operational support across customer service, stock management, operational administration, and logistics. You will act as the main conduit between depots and teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient coordination of activities across the business. Act as the conduit between two depots, ensuring live, accurate, and relevant information is communicated in real-time. Manage customer accounts end-to-end, ensuring all orders, queries, and requirements are handled promptly and professionally. Coordinate customer expectations by liaising with relevant departments in Belfast and Dublin to ensure a smooth and efficient process from order to delivery. Work with nominated hauliers to arrange and confirm collection and delivery slots, ensuring on-time and efficient logistics operations. Take full ownership of all administrative duties required to service customers, including order entry, requisitions, documentation, and delivery coordination. Support the existing business administration team during the SAP implementation, ensuring continuity of service and data accuracy. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency during and after SAP go-live. Previous experience in business administration, customer service, operations, or logistics coordination (ideally within a B2B or industrial environment). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multiple teams and locations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage (training will be provided). A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
