Who are we?
Landpower and the CLAAS Harvest Centre network is the largest privately-owned farm machinery distribution network in Australasia. We sell and service machinery to farmers and their contractors from our locations throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Our Christchurch and Melbourne offices co-ordinate wholesale activities and provide support functions. As a family-owned business we recognise the importance and value of the long-term relationships that we have grown over the last 45 years with our international partners.
What’s the job?
The primary role is to design, implement and maintain our data infrastructure and services which enable advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. As one of our data platform developers you will:
* Ensure data platforms are optimized for performance, security, and usability while supporting the integration of diverse data sources.
* Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data systems are aligned with evolving business needs.
* Foster collaboration to create resilient data solutions that drive better insights and outcomes.
* Identify opportunities to improve and enhance our data integration, data processing and data capture service and infrastructure,
Who are you?
To be successful in the role you will have:
* A degree in Information Technology or similar.
* At least 3 years development related experience
* A proven ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of SQL
* A strong knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling techniques
* Strong skills in the Microsoft SQL Stack including SQL Server development, SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional), and SSIS
* Working knowledge of application development using Microsoft C#, .Net Framework and .Net Core.
* Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
* The ability to self-motivate, display professionalism and have an eye for detail
