Hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule: Every other weekend Shifts: 6:30–14:30, 9:15–17:15, 10:15–18:15 (on a rota basis)

Are you passionate about preparing nutritious meals that make a real difference? Our client is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dedicated catering team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and staff wellbeing through high-quality food service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary standards
2. Collaborate with dietitians to meet patient-specific nutritional needs
3. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
4. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and monitor equipment
5. Supervise and support kitchen assistants during service
6. Control portion sizes and reduce food waste
7. Serve meals promptly and accommodate special dietary requirements
8. Participate in menu planning and stock inventory
What We’re Looking For
9. Previous experience in a hospital or large-scale catering environment is essential
10. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
11. Ability to work efficiently across varied shifts and weekends
12. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
13. Attention to detail and adaptability to dietary changes
