Location: Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham (100% office-based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, minimum 5 hours per day (flexible)

The Role
This is a varied and hands‑on role where you’ll support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to attendance management and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with recruitment, including advertising roles, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters and contracts.
* Managing onboarding and induction for new starters.
* Supporting annual review and appraisal processes.
* Overseeing absence management, including recording and reporting sickness and time off.
* Conducting return‑to‑work interviews following periods of absence.
* Taking accurate notes during absence, disciplinary, and grievance meetings.
* Carrying out and maintaining BPSS and Right to Work checks.
* Managing holiday bookings, attendance tracking, and time‑management records.
* Providing general HR administrative support, maintaining employee records, and ensuring policy compliance.
* Assisting with general business administration and ad‑hoc tasks as required.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence with HR systems.
* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Additional Information
* Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
* BPSS clearance required and must be maintained.
* 100% office‑based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
