Quality Management Specialist - Defence AviationBirmingham Airport | On-site Monday-Friday£42-£44 per hour12-Month Contract Inside IR35Current SC Clearance neededAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Management Specialist to join a military aviation continuing airworthiness environment based at Birmingham Airport.The successful candidate will support the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Quality function, ensuring ongoing compliance with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations and continued airworthiness requirements across maintenance and CAMO activities.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct CAMO quality assurance and compliance monitoring activitiesSupport and perform CAMO and Maintenance Organisation auditsEnsure compliance with RA 4900-4974 (MRP Part M) requirementsVerify and validate procedures within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)Monitor subcontracted CAMO activities and supplier complianceSupport corrective action management and continuous improvement initiativesConduct product sampling, compliance checks, and audit follow-up activitiesWork closely with maintenance organisations, delivery teams, and airworthiness stakeholdersExperience RequiredCandidates should have experience within aerospace, defence aviation, or continuing airworthiness environments, with knowledge in some of the following areas:CAMO / Continuing Airworthiness complianceMRP Part 145 (MAOS)AS9100D / AS9110C auditingInternal auditing within aviation programmesDefence aviation regulations and surveillance auditsRoot Cause Corrective Action processesHuman Factors and quality management systemsMaintenance Organisation audit activitiesIf you have a strong aerospace quality and airworthiness background and are looking for your next contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.We will contact you within the next 14 days if you are selected for interview.
