Culture shift – Lead the work supporting managers to develop a culture which will enable the RSC’s significant global ambition, and continue our work to embed inclusion and diversity into everything we do What makes this special:You\\\'ll manage the full P&C Operations and Development budget whilst leading a team of specialist colleagues across productivity, performance, people capability, and employee relations. Working closely with the Director of People and Culture and senior leadership, you\\\'ll fully own operational HR and have genuine influence over our organisational strategy and delivery. So you will be able to blend attending the office regularly to build stakeholder relationships and networks, meet with the team, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, with working from home or elsewhere. What we are looking for: · CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent extensive experience of successfully operating at a senior/lead level · Extensive HR operational knowledge within relevant legal frameworks, and the ability to devise innovative solutions to significant and complex HR problems.· Experience of successfully operating as a people manager providing leadership and direction across a range of HR specialist services, aligned with the delivery of strategic people goals· Significant experience of effective team building and development, enabling team members to flourish and reach their potential individually and collectively,· Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to influence outcomes through empathy, reasoning, persuasion and tact. · Strategic and logical thinker and decision-maker able to provide practical and creative solutions to the management of corporate and directorate issues. · High level analytical abilities: able to assimilate and analyse information quickly, identifying issues, priorities and solutions and using effective models, techniques and resources to manage risks and take advantage of opportunities.. · Demonstrable continuous development and improvement of own professional practice.· Proven experience of influencing strategic HR policy direction within a large / complex organisation, ideally with some experience of leading a people function with international colleagues.· Evidence of embedding change and championing transformation within P&C specialist teams and also more broadly, managing change including staff engagement, capacity building, improving capability, performance and productivity across a workforce · Experience of developing and implementing approaches to remuneration that support organisational goals as part of an attractive and engaging employee value proposition.· Experience of the management and control of budgets · Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information both orally and in writing in a clear articulate and balanced way to a variety of audiences.
