HR Administrator Location: Kirbymoorside Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm Salary: dependent on experience We’re working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business in Kirbymoorside, who are looking to appoint a HR Administrator to support their HR function. This is a busy and varied role, offering a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is looking to build a career within HR. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR activity, ensuring processes run smoothly, and providing a professional and efficient service across the business. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the HR team with a broad range of administrative duties Managing recruitment administration, including advertising roles, arranging interviews, and issuing offer documentation Completing Right to Work checks, DBS checks, and reference requests Maintaining accurate employee records and updating the HR system Preparing and issuing contracts, letters, and HR documentation Supporting onboarding and ensuring a smooth new starter experience Administering contract changes, including pay reviews and amendments Booking occupational health appointments and managing related administration Supporting with facilities and security administration where required Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries Assisting with HR reporting, KPIs, and data management Supporting policy updates and general HR projects Contributing to continuous improvement across HR processes We are looking for: Strong administrative experience within a busy office environment A genuine interest in developing a career within HR Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive and adaptable approach, able to manage multiple priorities A personable and approachable manner, comfortable working across teams Previous HR experience is not essential, but an interest in HR and a willingness to learn is key. This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of a team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality, professional service.
