Position
Site Manager – Power Upgrade Project (Harlow)
Pay: £300 per shift
Start Date: January 2026 (possible early mobilisation in December 2025)
Duration: Approx. 12 weeks
Location: Harlow
About the Project
We’re undertaking a High Voltage (HV) power upgrade in Harlow — involving both offsite and onsite cabling installation works. This will include trenching, civils, cabling installation, and managing the necessary Local Authority permits for highways, road crossings, and traffic management. Some directional drilling may be required as part of the works.
It’s a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who’s confident managing utility and civils-based infrastructure projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
 * Leading site activities to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.
 * Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with CDM and H&S standards.
 * Liaising with clients, local authorities, and in-house project teams.
 * Producing accurate site reports, daily logs, and progress updates using digital tools.
 * Maintaining cost control, progress tracking, and quality assurance throughout.
What You’ll Need
 * SMSTS certification
 * CSCS Gold Card (or equivalent)
 * First Aid at Work – Level 3
 * Sound understanding of CDM regulations and Principal Contractor duties
 * Previous experience in civils or HV/LV cabling projects
 * Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
 * Confident decision-maker with solid commercial awareness
 * Competent with IT and Microsoft Office tools

 * CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator
 * Previous EV or Power Installation project experience
