Assistant / Intermediate Site Manager Location: Staples Corner, London Contract: 6 Months Rate: £275 per day Project We are recruiting for an Assistant / Intermediate Site Manager to join a flagship £18 million, 190,000 sq ft Big Yellow Self Storage development at Staples Corner. The scheme involves the design, construction and full internal fit-out of a new six-storey self-storage facility, delivered following the demolition of the existing car showroom by others. The project includes high-specification storage units, flexible office space, reception areas, full M&E installations, lifts, fire and security systems, and associated external works. The development is targeting environmentally friendly, sustainable storage solutions, incorporating energy-efficient systems and modern construction methods within a prime London logistics/industrial location. The Role Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of this large-scale fit-out project, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high-quality standard. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Site Manager in daily site operations Supervise subcontractors and coordinate trades on site Manage quality control and inspections Use SnagR to record, track and close out snagging items Work closely with engineers to drive completion of snag lists Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures Assist with logistics management within an industrial project environment Support handover and completion processes Requirements Valid CSCS Card (essential) SMSTS preferred (SSSTS considered) Asbestos Awareness certification Minimum 2–3 years’ experience on logistics and/or industrial projects Previous experience in an Assistant or Intermediate Site Manager role Experience managing snagging and handover processes Strong organisational skills and attention to detail If you feel you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV to (url removed)
