Job Description
As Employment Counsel, you will:
3. Provide pragmatic, commercially focused employment advice to HR and business leaders across the UK and wider EMEA region.
4. Support on a variety of employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, dismissals, investigations and dispute resolution.
5. Assist on any ad hoc litigious matters
6. Draft, review and update employment policies, contracts, and handbooks.
7. Partner with HR on change programmes such as restructures, organisational design, integration, harmonisation and workforce transitions.
8. Keep the organisation abreast of developments in employment legislation, risk management and best practice.
9. Contribute to legal, HR and cross‑functional projects, committees and regulatory initiatives across the region.
The Successful Applicant
10. A qualified employment lawyer with experience in financial services gained in a reputable law firm and/or in‑house environment.
11. Available for an immediate start or date prior to March 01st
12. Practical, balanced, and commercially-minded approach to legal risk
13. Collaborative, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving business.
