Our client, a leading provider in the utility sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their team in the water industry. This is a permanent role focused on managing wastewater projects, ensuring high standards and compliance with health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational supervisory responsibility for wastewater projects
* Reviewing progress and performance on-site, ensuring all standards are adhered to
* Organising all resources for schemes, including plant, labour, materials, and sub-contractors
* Managing compliance in line with Health and Safety procedures on site (weekly checks, inspections, team briefings, audits)
* Providing weekly reports on sites to the management team and the client
* Undertaking health and safety inspections in and around the workplace
* Raising health and safety-related matters with management
* Investigating reportable accidents or incidents as they occur
Job Requirements
* Experience in the utilities sector, ideally in wastewater and capital works
* Competence, knowledge, and experience in deep excavations, civils, drainage, and structures
* Experience in street works and confined spaces
* Awareness of costs and programmes
* Strong team management and communication skills
* Proficient IT skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
