The main focus of this role is to achieve and deliver against the Client’s Key Result Areas and targets for CPM by maximising orders and sales in and out of their assigned stores across all SKUs. The Territory Sales Developer role combines sales, merchandising, and activation responsibilities. They are responsible for the availability of the core range, share of space, and activations within their geographical region.
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
* Increase business and maximise sales
* Undertake any other duties as instructed by your line manager
* Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan
* Deliver and execute objectives and targets set by your line manager
* Increase distribution and availability of the core range within stores
* Appropriately order electronically for all stores to prevent gaps
* Implement national and local planograms and promotions to increase distribution and availability
* Record all data accurately and submit timely reports daily
* Sell in and build activations aligned with company targets
* Merchandise off-sales
* Understand and identify customer needs
* Communicate effectively with store management and line managers
* Provide feedback regularly via verbal communication and electronically via spreadsheets
* Strive to reach the highest standards of performance
* Maintain CPM and client standards at all times
* Attend weekly team conference calls and monthly/quarterly team meetings
* Generate new ideas and improve ways of working
* Operate efficiently to complete all tasks effectively
Requirements
Full driving licence is essential.
Previous sales or merchandising experience in retail.
A good understanding of the FMCG sector, with knowledge of the convenience channel desirable.
