Job Title: Chef de Cuisine
We are looking for an accomplished Second Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing menu planning, meal preparation and stock control, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in kitchen leadership, menu development and team management.
In addition, they will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate their team to achieve exceptional results.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, meal preparation and stock control.
* Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
* Liaise with residents and staff to ensure their dietary needs are met.
* Manage a team of cooks and kitchen assistants to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Monitor and maintain accurate records of food supplies and temperatures.
* Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
