At Volvo Trucks, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and products to our customers. Our dealership is at the forefront of commercial vehicle service, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic team player to join our growing team.
In this role, your main responsibilities will focus on delivering excellent service and support to our Glasgow East depot. You will be a key team member involved in the day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of a busy depot.
Who are you?
* Assist with general depot upkeep and maintenance, identify risks, and report them promptly
* Collect and deliver materials and equipment from other Volvo or customer sites within the region
* Help with loading and unloading equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
* Support depot activities such as stock checks and preparing for customer and colleague site visits
* Coordinate with the depot's Apprentices on general duties
* Ensure equipment is correctly labelled and stock records are maintained
* Report any defects, risks, accidents, or near misses immediately
* Promote safe working practices and adhere to Health & Safety procedures
