Join us and you'll be the go-to person for all HR and payroll queries, initial guidance, support and signposting in a fast-paced organisation that has high expectations
Your day-to-day will see you effectively and efficiently responding to high volumes of queries and requests whether received face to face, over the phone, our ticketing system or by email, from across our organisation.
You'll provide a full range of guidance, signposting, HR and payroll input and cross checking through our iTrent HR system. You will trouble shoot any issues as they arise, escalating issues based on a triage approach and work with colleagues to clear legislative, safeguarding and audit requirements.
In return, you'll get the access to a range of development opportunities, including leadership development programmes, professional coaching and the opportunity to work with the wider HR function to further develop your skills
Our ideal candidate?
You'll hold a Level 3 CIPD qualification, CIPP qualification (Technician and above) or demonstrate equivalent experience.
Strong administration skills with experience of processing a high volume of transactions.
Customer focused approach with experience of taking ownership of and resolving customer queries
Experience of using a range of IT systems and programmes, with the ability to learn HR/payroll systems
The ability to work as part of the wider HR team and simply and effectively communicate HR information both verbally and in writing is key, as is a high degree of attention to detail and ability to triage high priority issues and act quickly.
This is a full-time permanent role, based at our Central Birmingham, Bath Row office – we're a smart working organisation but this is a highly visible role to our internal customers, so you'll need to be present in the office for most of the week, but we are also flexible to ensure you can meet and enjoy life's challenges and opportunities throughout the year.
