HR Administrator - Fixed Term Contract 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (12 months) Location: South Oxfordshire, Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 from home Salary: £30-35,000 per annum plus extensive benefits We are seeking a motivated and organised HR Administrator to provide comprehensive support to our clients HR Service Centre on a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR administration, looking to contribute to a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Day-to-Day of the Role: Serve as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses in line with agreed SLAs. Manage the HR Inbox, completing tasks and distributing others to team members as necessary. Provide advice on company policies and procedures to employees and managers. Assist in drafting HR-related correspondence such as variation, leaver, and other letters as required. Support the Learning and Development initiatives and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. Administer background checks for candidates and current employees as needed. Coordinate policy renewals with policy owners to ensure timely updates. Assist with payroll and benefits administration, maintaining accurate records in HRIS and ensuring updates across platforms. Suggest and implement process improvements and ensure GDPR compliance. Conduct regular audits in line with employment lifecycle processes and support HRIS enhancements to optimise functionality. Prepare HR reports as required and actively contribute to the overall excellence of the HR team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an HR Administrator, preferably within an HR Service Centre environment. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and its implications for employers. Basic understanding of payroll and pension legislation. Proficiency in using technology platforms such as Excel, Word, and Teams. Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging collaboratively at all levels. Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines. Resilient, with the ability to prioritise under pressure and maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR.
