Alongside our existing contracts, G3 Systems has successfully secured a long-term international programme, creating an exciting opportunity to hire a construction Site Manager to oversee the deliverable programme of operational civil works, including groundworks, structural, electrical and plumbing.
The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of projects in line with G3 Systems' Safety Policy, contractual requirements, and agreed quality standards. This role provides leadership on-site, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations, mandatory health and safety requirements, effective management of sub-contractors, and the delivery of project objectives on time and within scope

International Travel:
· The role will require long-term oversea deployment in Maputo, Mozambique.
o 14 weeks worked deployment, accrues 3 weeks of leave on rotation
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff, and supply chain under their control, in strict compliance with G3 Systems' Safety Policy.
* Ensure sub-contractors plan, operate, and deliver their works in line with contractual scope, programme requirements, and agreed design and quality standards.
* Lead site operations including management of the site diary, weekly progress reporting, site access controls, equipment usage, and waste management.
* Oversee compliance with UK health and safety standards, ensuring site induction processes, toolbox talks, permits to work, and continuous safety improvements are implemented and maintained.
* Drive the successful and safe completion of the project, ensuring delivery against quality, time, procurement, and client interface requirements.
* Provide clear leadership, coaching, and feedback to team members, fostering skills development, motivation, and engagement.
* Develop and maintain detailed site plans aligned with the overall project schedule to support timely procurement of materials, resources, and supply chain.
* Act as the point of contact for site security and welfare, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
* Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, including progress, safety, and project reviews.
* Identify, highlight, and report on contract variations.
Qualifications/Skill Essentials Required (unless indicated other wise):
* Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
* NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
* Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
* Valid LOLER certificate
* SMSTS
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project
* Managing all aspects of the build process
* Good working knowledge of NEC ECC Contracts
* Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation
* A good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high scores.
Remuneration & Benefits:
* Salary starting from £75,000 per annum (based on experience)
* As the role requires working abroad for extended periods (typically 42 weeks or more a year), the successful candidate may qualify for full UK tax relief on their earnings in line with HMRC regulations.
