Job Overview
Following our planned refurbishment in February 2026. We are looking to expand our team back of house. A Marstons food menu will be implemented back into the business so experience within this area would be preferable.
Duties to include;
* Food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
* Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards.
* Follow food safety protocols and hygiene regulations at all times.
* Restock supplies and organise storage areas efficiently.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of kitchen equipment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is essential. Ongoing online training will be available.
* Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly, able to follow specification book.
* Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting.
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior team members.
* Experience in serving or customer interaction is a plus but not mandatory.
* Must have a knowledge/experience with all allergens.

Pay: £12.21 per hour - Work related bonus scheme in place.
Work Location: Blackpole Inn, Blackpole road worcester.
