We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Vehicle Sales Executive to join our expanding Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea team, selling our range of new and used Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Ideal applicants will come from a retail sales background and must have a stable career history. Full training will be provided, and you will be expected to attend manufacturer and in-house courses to further your skills.

Location: Volkswagen Van Centre Swansea
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: Basic Basic Salary £20,000 pa. plus commission, company vehicle and benefits. As you develop and gain more experience, you can look forward to earning between £40k and £45k, with uncapped earning potential.
The Opportunity
As a Sales Executive for the Van Centre Swansea, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our customers. Working as part of a supportive team and reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is offered on a full-time basisMonday to Friday, with a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and no requirement to work Sundays.
Your duties will include:
As a Sales Executive you will be representing both Sinclair Group and Volkswagen Light Commercial brand. Working as part of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for the end to end customer experience. Day to day you will:
1. Respond to queries from new and existing customers relating to new and used vehicle sales
2. Guide customers through their purchase journey, providing outstanding customer service as the face of both Sinclair and the Volkswagen brand.
3. Meet individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities on finance, insurance products and optional extras
4. Assist in generating a steady flow of enquiries through prospecting and marketing activity
5. Maintain specialist knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles and options, participating in regular training and product updates
6. Manage the vehicle handover process, ensuring compliance with all procedures
7. Adhere to Sinclair Group and industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance

8. Previous, proven experience in a customer-focused sales environment
9. Warm, friendly and professional manner both face to face and over the phone
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Confident using social media, video and digital communication tools to engage customers
12. Full, clean driving licence (no drink-driving convictions for insurance purposes)
Hours of Work:
13. Monday to Friday
14. 1 in 3 Saturdays (8.30am - 5pm)
15. No Sunday working
16. Weekday hours: 8.30am - 6pm
