The Role: Leading and evolving the people strategy of a growing, international company with ~350 employees across 15 countries, managing local HR staff across regions. Responsible for aligning HR practices with the company's business objectives, ensuring compliance with diverse employment regulations, and building a strong culture that supports high performance, a learning environment, employee engagement, and talent retention.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership
* Partner with the COO and leadership team to shape organizational strategy, workforce planning, and culture.
* Design and implement an international HR strategy aligned with growth, performance, and business priorities.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people-related decisions.
Talent Management & Development
* Drive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across multiple geographies.
* Implement succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential talent programs.
* Establish a Learning and Development framework for all divisions across the business.
* Oversee performance management frameworks and ensure continuous feedback culture.
Culture, Engagement & Diversity
* Champion company values and ensure cultural consistency across diverse regions.
* Lead employee engagement initiatives and Internal Communications for the Group, measuring impact through surveys and feedback.
* Develop DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives suitable for a multi-country environment.
HR Operations & Compliance
* Oversee global HR operations, policies, and processes (onboarding, payroll, contracts, benefits).
* Ensure compliance with employment law across 15 jurisdictions.
* Manage external HR, legal, and payroll partners where necessary.
* Manage the structure and data integrity of the HR system (Bamboo).
Compensation & Benefits
* Develop competitive compensation and benefits strategies across markets.
* Oversee salary benchmarking, incentive schemes, and equity programs.
* Ensure fairness, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.
Change & Transformation
* Lead HR's role in reorganizations, or business expansion.
* Introduce digital HR systems and tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
* Drive cultural integration and change management programs.
Team Management
* Lead a team of 4 regional HR professionals.
* Develop the teams' skills to provide in region support in our operating regions.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations.
Key deliverables

Qualifications or specialized knowledge/experience required:
* 10+ years progressive HR leadership experience in international/multi-country environments in our key operating markets.
* Proven experience scaling HR practices in a mid-sized, fast-growing company.
* Strong knowledge of international labor laws and compliance frameworks.
* Track record of leading high-performing, distributed HR teams.
* Experience with compensation frameworks, global mobility, and talent management.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence at Board and leadership levels.
* Demonstrated agility, courage and resilience in a highly entrepreneurial and fast evolving environment.
