All About the Role
This is an 18-month level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship; we are looking for an energetic, detail orientated and customer focused Sales Executive Apprentice to join our experienced sales team. Full training is offered to a person with passion, drive, excellent customer service and communication skills.
Specific tasks & studies will include:
1. Building customer relationships & managing customer expectations
2. Learning about the importance of ethics and integrity
3. Understanding buying signals – both verbal and non-verbal and progression to point in sales conversations
4. Developing ethical techniques in closing sales
5. Effectively using digital tools to conduct research and target customers in line with overall sales strategy
6. Carry out all related sales administration including raising sales orders, checking stock availability, and raising quotations.
7. Identifying business needs such as minimum price and acceptable terms, negotiate or trade variables effectively
8. Ensuring a high level of customer service, acting as an organisational ambassador
9. Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
10. Working across departments such as buying operations & transport to gain an insight into the business
