Job Description
* End-to-end transactional HR processes including starters, employee lifecycle changes and leavers
* Maintaining employee information and records in People systems (HRIS, Payroll, etc.)
* Creation (and changes to) terms and conditions letters and contracts
* Point of contact for policy and process queries from the business
* Manage and maintain a specific area of administration to become the team subject matter expert
* Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports, analysing data where required
* Manage escalations and resolve complex stakeholder and team queries with support from the HR Operations Manager when required
* Identify root cause of issues that arise and seek solutions and preventative measures
* Work closely with the HR Business Partner and HR Advisors
* Manage employee records and update the HR database.
* Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding new hires.
* Coordinate HR projects and take minutes during meetings.
* Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
* Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
* Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
* Support the HR department's day-to-day operations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior HR Administrator should have:
* Experience working in an HR role managing, coordinating and administering HR policies and processes
* Qualification in Human Resources or a related field or working towards.
* Practical knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
* Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Experience working in an HR role managing, coordinating and administering HR policies and processes
* Ability to meet fluctuating deadlines at short notice and willing to be flexible to reach deadlines
* Sound decision making skills utilising information and knowledge of HR systems and processes
* Ability to support and influence the wider HR team whilst continuing with hand on administrative workloads
* Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve
* Strong team player but with the ability to work independently and with autonomy
* Ability to build and maintain relationships and provide a high level of customer service
