Responsibilities
* Meal Preparation: Plan a varied weekly menu, prepare and assemble ingredients, and cook meals that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
* Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the hygienic handling of food and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
* Kitchen Management: Maintain an organised kitchen, keep accurate records of food items, and monitor supplies to reorder stock as necessary.
* Equipment Care: Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order and report any issues promptly.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all Health and Safety requirements and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
* Additional Duties: Be ready to undertake other responsibilities as required by your line manager to support the team.
