A respected civil engineering company with a national presence in the water industry, is seeking Site Managers to join their team. Based in the Midlands, they specialise in clean and wastewater treatment works across the Severn Trent region. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to take on a 12-month contract, starting as soon as possible and working outside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing all on-site activities related to clean and wastewater treatment works
Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives
Implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols on site
Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations and specifications
Maintaining accurate records and preparing progress reports for senior management
Troubleshooting and resolving any on-site issues promptly and efficiently
Fostering a positive team environment and providing leadership and direction to on-site staff
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering within the water industry
Strong project management and site supervision skills
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks effectively
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Relevant civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification
