Head Cook to lead our culinary operations, uphold our reputation for excellence, and help take our brand to new heights. The Role This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-end kitchen operation and be instrumental in shaping the future of a luxury Indian catering brand. You'll be responsible for leading the kitchen team, curating fine-dining menus tailored for events, and delivering culinary experiences that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver bespoke, high-end Indian menus for corporate clients and events Ensure exceptional presentation, consistency, and taste across all dishes Manage kitchen operations including prep, execution, hygiene, and logistics Source premium ingredients and build relationships with top-tier suppliers Maintain food quality, portion control, and accurate costing Implement rigorous food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols (HACCP-compliant) Train, inspire, and lead a skilled kitchen team Collaborate with founders on menu design, innovation, and client briefs Represent the brand with professionalism and pride at tasting sessions and events Requirements Legal right to work in the UK Minimum 3 years' experience as a cook specialising in Indian cuisine, with a focus on Punjabi or North Indian dishes Experience in catering for high-end events, banquets, or corporate clients preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Advanced knowledge of Indian spices, plating techniques, and event-level prep Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Creative flair with a meticulous eye for detail Calm under pressure with excellent time management and multitasking skills What We Offer Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses A key leadership role within a premium catering business Creative freedom and influence over menu and brand direction Free staff meals and team-building experiences Opportunity to grow with an ambitious, values-driven company Be part of delivering culinary excellence at the highest level If youre a cook with a passion for luxury Indian cuisine and a flair for event catering, wed love to hear from you.
