Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, multi-site organisation to recruit an HR Manager to lead and develop the people function across the business. This is a hands-on, generalist role with responsibility for delivering effective HR practices that support operational and commercial objectives.
Reporting into senior leadership, the HR Manager will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to managers while ensuring compliance, consistency, and a strong people culture.
The Role
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function, with a strong focus on employee relations, people development, and policy implementation.
Key responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures aligned to business objectives
* Managing end-to-end recruitment, from role definition through to onboarding
* Providing advice and guidance to managers on performance management, employee relations, and HR best practice
* Overseeing compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews and bonus schemes
* Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies
* Supporting training and development initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders
* Implementing and embedding performance management processes using HR systems
* Handling employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and workplace disputes
* Maintaining and developing HR systems to ensure consistency across people processes
* Supporting health and safety compliance and people-related risk management
Your Profile
* Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline
* CIPD qualified (or equivalent professional membership)
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Manager or Senior HR role
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
* Experience using HR systems and recruitment software
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence and advise at all levels
* Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
* High levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality

* Salary of £50,000 – £60,000, dependent on experience
