About the role
We are looking to recruit a peripatetic mobile cook in charge to join our catering team in Ceredigion
You will be expected to work as a peripatetic mobile cook throughout Ceredigion and be responsible for the delivery of catering activities at schools, care homes and civic catering kitchens, to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.
The role includes:
1. Preparation and service of food to clients/pupils
2. Stock control and ordering of supplies (provisions and cleaning materials)
3. Cleanliness of all areas, equipment and utensils
4. Provision of menus for clients
5. Provision of special diets, as required
6. Liaison with clients regarding service
7. Management of changes to practices and procedures as required from time to time
8. Be available to cover shift work in care homes and special events which includes evening and weekend working as required
