Overview
HR Administrator position located in Central Guildford. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home. Start date: ASAP. Contract: 6-10 weeks (to be confirmed). Pay rate: £15.38 per hour. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Parking: No on-site parking, but public parking nearby.
Responsibilities
* First point of contact for employees regarding HR queries
* Draft offers of employment and prepare new joiner documents
* Liaise with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and HR teams to ensure new employees are onboarded efficiently
* Maintain the HR database including inputting new starter information, salary changes, promotions, etc.
* Support HR Advisors with ER case administration, including preparing letters and note taking at meetings
* Conduct pre-employment screening including obtaining references and right to work documentation
* Process administration relating to maternity / paternity / adoption leave
* Update policies and procedures in line with employment legislation updates
* Assist with administration relating to TUPE transfers
* Assist with wider HR projects and initiatives, for example wellbeing, learning and development
Requirements
* Have previous HR Admin experience
* Be immediately available and able to commit to the duration of the role
* Be passionate about delivering an outstanding service
* Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
