Customer Service Manager – office based role – must be commutable to Wigan
* One of the largest manufacturers of packaging & paper products, and they are looking for an ambitious, driven, self-motivated and highly effective Customer Service Manager to join their dynamic & successful team.
* Leading from the front, you and your team of up to 8 Customer Service Co-Ordinator’s, will provide invaluable support internally and externally. Not only will your team be the first point of contact for customers with any questions or queries they may have, and upselling or cross selling where the opportunity arises, they will also be responsible for providing day to day assistance with both supporting the sales team to bring on new clients with things such as confirming requirements, preparing & submitting quotes & following up on these, and the after sales process monitoring to manage order intakes, design work etc…to ensure smooth on boarding.
* In addition to managing the team to support with incoming enquiries for the majority of the sites customer base, you will also have direct responsibility and involvement with 2-3 of the companies Major Accounts alongside the sales team, to ensure seamless delivery upon agreed SLA’s, and agreed orders are there on time and in full. This requires thorough internal stakeholder liaison with Sales, Manufacturing, Design & Logistics to ensure you are aware of any changes in capacity such that you can manage expectations & workload quickly and efficiently.
* While this is a customer service led role, there are set KPI’s and targets that you and the team will work to, and your guidance will be required to ensure that the team are hitting those. As this is a management role there is an expectation for this to be monitored effectively, training areas to be identified and worked upon, and performance reviews regularly put in place.
* Your day to day will be highly varied, and the business works at an incredibly fast pace, so you will need to be highly organised, focused, confident, an excellent communicator and solution driven. In many ways you are will act as the central point that pulls all the different departments together, so you will need to build a level of credibility with your internal colleagues to ensure you are all working together.

* Having worked for a manufacturer, and the ability to demonstrate an in depth understanding of real time manufacturing, is a must.
* Proven experience in customer service management
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* Live within commutable distance to Wigan.
The Package:
* Basic Salary of up to £55,000
