Breakfast Cook – Small Inn (Monday to Thursday, 6:30am–9:30am)
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Breakfast Cook to join our team at our small, welcoming inn. This role involves preparing and overseeing a buffet-style breakfast service for up to 25 guests, Monday to Thursday.
About the Role:
* Hours: 6:30am to approximately 9:30am
* Days: Monday to Thursday
* Guests: Typically 20–25 people per morning
* Style: Buffet breakfast — guests help themselves to food and drinks
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items (e.g. eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, cereals)
* Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet to a high standard
* Engage warmly with guests and ensure they feel welcome
* Tidy and clear the breakfast area after service
* Ensure cleanliness and food hygiene standards are maintained at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
* Comfortable working independently and efficiently in the mornings
* Friendly and approachable — happy to chat with guests
* Organised and clean with good attention to detail
* Previous breakfast or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential
