Your new role
As Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the site’s quality systems and lead a small team to ensurepliance with food safety standards and customer requirements. Reporting to the Head of Technical, you’ll manage audits, maintain supplier approval processes, and drive improvements in the Quality Management System.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and coaching Quality Control staff to uphold GMP and food safety culture.
2. Managing internal audits and supporting external audits (customer and regulatory).
3. Maintaining supplier approval processes and digital traceability systems.
4. Supporting NPD trials and ensuring robust documentation.
5. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting paperless systems.
This is a Monday to Friday role, ideal for someone looking to step up into management or for an experienced professional seeking a new challenge.
What you'll need to succeed
6. A degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent experience.
7. Strong understanding of food safety standards and audit processes (, BRC).
8. Ability to lead by example and coach others effectively.
9. Excellentmunication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
10. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
11. Flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.
