The Position Job Title: Apprentice Sales Executive Apprenticeship Course: Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship Duration: 13 months Assessment Location: Poole Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 Opportunity: This apprenticeship gives you real-world sales experience within a fast-moving Revenue Operations consultancy. You will learn how to build pipeline, develop strategic client relationships, and support structured revenue growth across our services. You will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by leaders within the company, as well as your apprenticeship training provider. By the end of the programme, you will have a Level 4 Sales Executive qualification, proven sales capability, and experience working in a high-performance GTM environment. Role Purpose: The Apprentice Sales Executive is responsible for supporting revenue and margin growth across a defined partner and customer base. You will focus on building relationships with decision-makers, identifying growth opportunities, qualifying leads, and contributing to the achievement of team commercial goals. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless customer experience. Objectives: You will be expected to: Develop strategic relationships with partners and customers, including accounts with both single and multiple decision-makers. Expand the current partner base through structured prospecting to grow solution adoption and revenue. Build clear and simple partner business plans for targeted accounts. Ensure all assigned accounts are correctly profiled and maintained in the CRM. Identify opportunities to introduce additional company divisions or services into existing accounts. Communicate and promote vendor or company-wide campaigns to customers. Generate, qualify, and progress leads through the full sales cycle, tracking activity and outcomes in our systems. Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Delivery to maximise account performance. Support appointment-setting and meeting preparation with Product Management and Presales. Promote and sell services, enablement, or training solutions where relevant. Key Responsibilities: Sales and growth execution Deliver expert support across your assigned service and solution areas. Contribute to team and individual KPIs including revenue, margin, pipeline generation, and activity targets. Develop new customer relationships while nurturing and expanding existing ones Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities, ensuring clear need, fit, and next steps. Follow up on marketing campaigns, events, and outreach activities to convert interest into pipeline. Promote our services consistently, positioning value on every customer interaction. CRM and data ownership Maintain up-to-date CRM records for accounts, contacts, and opportunities. Own responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of your database. Track opportunity progress from lead to close with clear notes and next actions. Collaboration and market awareness Build strong working relationships with Delivery, Product, Marketing, and Sales colleagues. Attend internal and vendor training sessions and request additional development in weaker areas. Share competitor and market insights to support pricing and positioning decisions. What Success Looks Like: Within the first 3 to 6 months, you will: Confidently manage and grow a small partner or customer book. Contribute consistent qualified pipeline into the sales system. Demonstrate strong CRM hygiene and use of structured sales processes. Build trusted relationships internally and externally. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will: Be able to independently prospect, qualify, and progress opportunities. Understand the company’s service portfolio and how to position it commercially. Have measurable contribution to revenue, margin, and growth KPIs. Hold a Level 4 Sales Executive qualification and practical GTM sales experience.
