Salary: £36,000 - 53,000 per year Requirements: A relevant degree in computer science or a related equivalent qualification Extensive experience of data science related programming to develop and deploy data handling and visualisation applications (e.g., R, Shiny Apps, Dash, Streamlit, Tableau, Base44) Strong skills in data visualisation, including interactive visualisation packages Good understanding of SQL and ability to work with relational databases Experience deploying data science solutions using cloud platforms Experience creating detailed utility support documentation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team Thorough understanding of data privacy Strong academic ability Responsibilities: Lead on the production of external and internal applications for AHWNI Develop data-driven solutions to facilitate animal health planning and infectious disease control Build web applications that include interactive dashboards, visualizations, and data exploration tools Co-design web-based solutions with AHWNI animal health experts Develop, manage, and maintain intuitive animal health dashboards Allow end users to interact with their data and provide analytical tools for disease tracking Fully document the design and implementation of interactive dashboards and visualizations Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and provide timely solutions to issues Engage with AHWNI stakeholders and end users, including livestock farmers and veterinary practitioners Technologies: Cloud Support SQL Tableau Web CRM More: At AHWNI, we are an industry-led not-for-profit partnership focused on facilitating the control and eradication of ruminant diseases in Northern Ireland.
