The Role:
You will support client hiring managers in filling their permanent and contingent vacancies to target start dates ensuring all quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs are met.
You will deliver excellent recruitment services, offering service continuity to the client in line with agreed service levels, acting as the custodian of candidate quality and the hiring manager experience.
You will be accountable for the delivery of high quality, engaged candidate shortlists to your hiring managers, supporting to deliver against our clients' frontline hiring demands, which includes both branch network and contact centre hiring, whilst providing accurate and complete information to help them make informed hiring decisions.
You will make clear recommendations on your shortlisted candidates and speculatively introduce candidates of interest to your key stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
* Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with senior hiring managers/stakeholders
* Independent execution of the end-to-end delivery of both permanent and contingent recruitment services to them, providing counsel, advising through insight and SME knowledge on the recruitment process and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met
* Lead discussion on attraction strategies, working with hiring managers to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands
* Make recommendations for best fit and skills profile, coaching hiring managers on what may or may not be achievable
* Collaborate effectively with relevant teams to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience
* Take full ownership to ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements, including the utilisation of 3rd party technology to support to assess candidate suitability
* Lead vacancy consultation discussions to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers – this includes role requirements, sourcing strategy, DEI requirements, pay range, agreed timeframes, responsibilities of all involved, hiring process (Chosen for you or chosen by you) and the selection process
In some instances, where the hiring manager selects, you will be responsible for managing the purposely designed chosen approach to hiring, where you will be responsible for identifying, competency interviewing, selecting and offering candidates, ahead of them meeting the hiring manager for an informal discussion post verbal offer acceptance.
You’ll need to demonstrate:
* Enthusiasm to deliver a best in class, innovative and experience focused service for both candidates and hiring managers.
* Demonstrable mastery in recruiting and sourcing techniques with the ability to use data and in-depth market knowledge to inform sourcing strategies
* Experience in volume recruitment – working to set intake dates and supporting to ensure candidates are progressing their applications to ensure process compliance (for example completing assessments, providing onboarding documentation)
* Ability and willingness to learn new processes – including delivering 360 recruitment across both contingent and permanent hiring
* Experience in candidate response management and the sourcing of passive candidates using the tools available, including but not limited to job boards, and in house ATS or CRM technologies
* Experience in managing recruitment processes and working directly with Hiring Managers
* Ability to manage and influence Senior Stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships with candidates, clients and colleagues
* Handles challenging conversations with confidence
* Analytical mind, attention to detail and practical and proactive approach
Nice to Haves:
* Experience working within a highly complex or matrixed organisation
* Knowledge of both permanent and contingent hiring delivery
* Willing to travel to client locations for meetings, hiring events and training, aligning to our commitment of our recruitment teams being onsite, supporting to drive effective relationships and partnerships
