Overview
Our client, a key player in the rail sector, is currently seeking an experienced PTS Site Manager for a contract position. This role involves working on a significant infrastructure project with a focus on the installation of level crossings on railway lines.
Responsibilities
* Managing site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
* Supervising and coordinating site personnel and subcontractors
* Overseeing the installation of level crossings on railway lines
* Ensuring all health, safety, environmental and quality standards are upheld
* Conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain project progress
* Managing project documentation and reporting to senior management
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure smooth execution
Job Requirements
* Experience in PTS Civils as a Supervisor, Sub Agent, Site Manager
* Valid PTS/Sentinel card (COSS preferred but not essential)
* SMSTS certification
* Proven track record in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail sector
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Contract Details
* 6-8 month contract with potential for extension
* Outside IR35
* Mix of day, night, and weekend shifts
