Power Platform Developer
£55,000 | Permanent | Glasgow-Based | Hybrid Working Available
Nigel Frank International is currently representing a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major digital transformation. We're on the lookout for a talented Power Platform Developer to join their in-house digital team and help build innovative, low-code applications that improve internal operations and service delivery across a broad and impactful mission.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, mission-led employer and play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent digital solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
The Role
As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll take the lead in developing and customising business-critical applications using the Power Platform stack. Working within a collaborative and agile team, your responsibilities will span both development and technical support - with opportunities to influence best practices and contribute to ongoing platform enhancements.
You'll work closely with stakeholders and other technical professionals across different departments, helping to create connected, efficient systems that support business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents.
* Configure and support Dataverse and Dynamics 365 environments.
* Write custom components and scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform CLI.
* Collaborate on system design and architecture discussions, ensuring secure and maintainable integrations.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipeline processes via tools like Azure DevOps, supporting automated deployments and environment management.
* Document technical processes, application architecture, and development workflows.
* Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
* Help monitor application health and troubleshoot technical issues when they arise.
* Keep abreast of new Power Platform features and contribute to internal innovation.
About You
You’re an experienced developer who enjoys working across the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and iteration. You understand the nuances of low-code platforms but are also comfortable applying advanced customisation where needed.
We’re looking for:
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and related services.
* Experience using Dataverse and deploying Dynamics 365-based solutions.
* Proficiency in front-end scripting with JavaScript or TypeScript.
* Understanding of Power Platform plug-ins, custom connectors, and reusable components.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
Bonus Points for:
* Exposure to Power BI, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams integration.
* Experience using Azure services like Logic Apps or Function Apps.
* Involvement in agile delivery environments.
* Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform (PL-400, PL-100, etc.).
What’s in it for You
* Salary: £55,000 per annum
* Location: Glasgow (hybrid working model – part office, part remote)
* Contract: Full-time, permanent
* Work-life balance: Flexible working hours and supportive policies
