We are looking for an experienced HR Manager, based in Farnborough, to provide comprehensive HR support. Vista has a global reach with operational hubs across the globe and an expert workforce of over 4,000 aviation professionals. As an organisation with “start-up” origins, we are looking for a practically minded individual who will foster the company’s vibrant and entrepreneurial culture and be highly flexible in their approach.
Responsibilities
* Building strong relationships with senior leaders and managers to position yourself as their trusted advisor.
* Aiding decision making by providing high-quality, business-focused coaching and advice across all HR areas.
* Keeping company policies up-to-date and ensuring ongoing compliance with current legal requirements; recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures as required.
* Coaching managers on company policies and procedures, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
* Supporting managers in all performance review processes.
* Preparing contracts, documents and letters as required.
* Presenting weekly induction sessions to ensure all new employees are welcomed into the company.
* Providing advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring each case is handled fairly and in line with best practice.
* Advising and overseeing immigration processes in the UK to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Collaborating with Finance on the administration of payroll and employee benefits.
* Reviewing benefit offerings regularly to ensure competitiveness.
* Working alongside the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment and selection.
* Overseeing all exit interviews.
* Facilitating change-management activities as required.
* Playing an integral role in the Group HR team and contributing to the development of HR strategy and plans – for example, in performance management, reward and recognition, and learning and development.
* Undertaking HR projects as required.
* Office management of the Farnborough office.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* Educated to degree level and holding a full CIPD qualification.
* At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
* Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with senior leaders, managers, and employees alike.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
* Previous experience in aviation, manufacturing, or construction.
