Your new role
As a Site Manager, you will lead the delivery ofplex new-build projects, with a particular initial emphasis on healthcare facilities, such as hospitals and specialist care units. You will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects arepleted safely, on time, and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and supervising site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
2. Implementing robust health and safety protocols, ensuringpliance with all regulatory requirements.
3. Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to align on project goals and resolve any issues promptly.
4. Monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
5. Driving quality control, ensuring all work meets thepany’s exacting standards and client specifications.
6. Contributing to thepany’s sustainability goals by adopting environmentally responsible construction practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:
7. Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build projects with a track record of delivering projects on time and to specification.
8. Strong knowledge of construction processes, particularly inplex environments like healthcare and education, where precision andpliance are critical.
9. Excellent leadership andmunication skills to manage diverse teams and engage with stakeholders effectively.
10. A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and amitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
11. Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. (Tickets such as SMSTS, CSCS, SSSTS, CSR)
12. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
