The Opportunity

Sourcechange is hiring search consultants who operate differently. We don't need people who can just make calls and send CVs - we need dealmakers who build their own tools, automate their own workflows, and use AI to outperform teams twice their size.

You'll lead full-cycle mandates in power infrastructure and battery technology - markets where capital and engineering intersect, demand is structural, and the best recruiters operate more like analysts than administrators. You'll run your own desk with uncapped earnings, equity participation, and a direct path to leadership in a business built for long-term value creation and exit.

Why This Role Is Different

The recruitment industry is splitting. On one side: traditional recruiters drowning in admin, manually sourcing, and competing on volume. On the other: a new breed of AI-native consultants who build signal-based pipelines, automate enrichment and outreach, and use data to make smarter decisions faster.

We're hiring for the second category. At Sourcechange, every consultant is expected to leverage our AI-native tech stack - and, increasingly, to extend it. If you can prompt an LLM, build a workflow, or wire up an API, you'll multiply your output and your earnings.

Who You Are

Core: You're a commercially driven recruiter who has billed successfully in a 360-degree context. You thrive in technical, talent-scarce markets. You value measurable results over politics and long-term reward over short-term noise. You have grit - an exceptional work ethic, unrelenting determination, and tenacity are prerequisites.

Technical Edge: You're comfortable with AI tools and actively seek to integrate them into your workflow - or you're determined to learn. We're looking for consultants who will:

* Treat AI as a core part of their workflow, not a novelty
* Proactively build tools and automations that give them a sourcing and execution edge
* Contribute to the design and development of proprietary tools and products that enhance efficiency and strengthen our offering to clients and candidates
* Take ownership of their data, their pipeline architecture, and their tech stack
* Contribute to the firm's collective intelligence - sharing workflows, prompts, and innovations across the team

What You'll Do

* Lead full-cycle searches across power infrastructure and battery technology (BESS)
* Originate new client relationships and expand existing partnerships across PE-backed and public platforms
* Source, assess, and close top-tier technical, commercial, and leadership talent
* Structure and negotiate mandates across retained, contingent, and embedded models
* Build and maintain your own AI-augmented research and sourcing toolkit - we provide the stack, you push it further
* Own your ATS data quality, pipeline analytics, and candidate enrichment processes
* Develop signal-based sourcing strategies that surface candidates before they hit the market
* Build a personal market and brand - your clients, your profit stream, your reputation
