Job description:
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Tyre Removal & Yard Operative. The role involves working outdoors, removing tyres from HGVs, wagons, and various other vehicles, and loading them into a compressor machine. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires good stamina and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely remove tyres from HGVs, wagons, and other vehicles on site.
* Load and unload tyres into the compressor machine for processing.
* Perform regular handballing and heavy lifting throughout the shift.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Follow all site safety procedures and guidelines.
* Assist with general yard duties as required.
Requirements:
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
