Overview
The Sales Executive will play a key role in building and developing customer accounts as guided by the Trading Manager, to create business opportunities within the UK Food Manufacturing and Food Service industry. Assisting the team with supply chain and warehousing constraints. Assisting the Technical Manager with non-conformances, customer set up, maintenance of customer approvals.
Responsibilities
* Create and build new relationships within key market sectors based on customer needs.
* Develop relationships with key decision makers (buyer types) at customer level across functions.
* Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit.
* Research and understand key market data (UK, EU, Oceania) to help inform current or future trading patterns.
* Forecasting projected volumes per customer per SKU.
* Reporting of the forward book position to inform the Trading Manager and General Manager of Ornua Nutrition Ingredients UK.
* Assist with the recall / crisis team as directed by the Technical Manager.
* Assisting the Technical Manager with non-conformances, customer setup and approvals.
* Operate to current Quality & Food Safety policies and procedures relevant to the role as included within the QMS.
* Undertaking training on the Food Safety & Quality Policy and other Policies within the QMS as required.
* Other tasks relevant to the role.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Motivated, adaptable and curious sales administrator with the drive to help a mission-driven organisation reach new levels of success.
* Strong business acumen and a positive can-do attitude.
* Ability to negotiate and influence customers and key stakeholders.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., M3) and Power BI is desirable but not essential.

* Contract: This is a temporary maternity cover contract of approximately 12 months.
* Salary: Generous salary dependent on experience. Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.
