BAM Infrastructure is involved in a major nuclear new build project at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, delivering reinforced concrete structures, roads, and complex multi-network installations. Due to increasing workload, we are seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join our team.

Your mission
1. Lead the preparation and monitoring of the project execution plan (PEP).
2. Support the project agent on quality system effectiveness and PEP implementation.
3. Lead project staff in preparing documented information per project and PEP requirements.
4. Assess subcontractor and supplier quality systems.
5. Maintain effective information control and archiving systems.
6. Implement quality systems with site team, subcontractors, and suppliers; prepare site procedures and assurance records.
7. Coordinate project audits and support corrective actions.
8. Manage interface with staff and customer representatives to resolve quality issues promptly.
9. Report monthly on project quality status to the agent and BPQ Department.
10. Lead, coach, and develop quality staff.
11. Stay updated on emerging quality management practices.
12. Perform other duties as required.
Who are we looking for?
The Following Are Required Requirements
* Experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems in projects.
* Membership or progress towards membership in a relevant professional body.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Experience in managing and developing teams.
* Proficiency in information technology.
The Following Are Desirable Requirements
* Knowledge of Lean construction and digital construction tools.
* IRCA lead auditor qualification.
* Mentoring experience.
* Degree or technical qualification.
* Experience in construction project delivery.
