Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager (UK)
We are seeking a Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to provide expertise and guidance across all levels of the organization in maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role includes performing routine inspections, audits, and risk assessments for both direct hires and subcontracted field installation work.
Your responsibilities
* Review and update policies to reflect legislative changes or company developments.
* Advise management on health, safety, and environmental changes and industry standards.
* Coordinate communication with regulatory authorities, external bodies, and customers.
* Participate in meetings to discuss and review safety, health, quality, and environmental topics.
* Assist with health and safety risk assessments and provide recommendations or corrective actions.
* Develop written Safe Systems of Work and ensure they remain current.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to guarantee staff and conditions comply with all legislation and site rules.
* Audit SHEQ compliance of sub‑contractors and partners, aiding in partner selection and evaluation.
* Report all injuries, diseases, and dangerous occurrences to HSE within RIDDOR 2013 timeframes.
* Maintain records of accidents, incidents, near‑misses, non‑compliances, and close‑outs.

Qualifications & Accreditations (Essential)
* NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience in a Health & Safety manager role.
* Knowledge of CDM and relevant health and safety legislation.
* Experience with ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 management systems and auditing.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Full DBS check or DBS application ability.
* Right to work in the UK.
Qualifications & Accreditations (Desirable)
* Experience in mobile telecoms and telecommunications industry.
* Rooftop safety experience.
* Membership of IOSH, IIRSM, or other H&S organisations.
