Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Bricklayer's Mate to join a busy construction site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will support bricklayers and site trades, assist with materials, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
This role is ideal for someone with site experience who is physically fit, dependable, and keen to progress within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting bricklayers with day-to-day tasks
* Mixing mortar to the correct consistency
* Loading and unloading bricks, blocks, and materials
* Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
* Moving materials around site as required
* Supporting general site labouring duties
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
* Taking instructions from site supervisors and tradesmen
Requirements
* Valid CSCS Card (essential)
* Face Fit & Manual Handling & IPAF
* Previous experience as a labourer or bricklayer's mate preferred
* Good understanding of site health & safety
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Ability to work well as part of a team
