Unit Catering Manager - Bagintonfields - 25 hours per week

Unit Catering Manager required to work 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, term‑time only at Baginton Fields Academy, Sedgemore Road, Coventry, CV3 4EA. Working 38.6 weeks per year – £15,363.45 per year.
Responsibilities:
* Set and maintain a high standard of food presentation and service – all food served at the right temperature, garnished and presented appropriately.
* Serve meals and assist customers in selecting dishes.
* Order, prepare and cook food following the Centralised menu plan for breakfasts, lunches, buffets and promotions, ensuring government nutritional/food‑based standards are met.
* Compile and submit all statistical documentation required by the central administration office, e.g. trading sheets, payroll adjustment sheets, periodic stock control sheets.
* Prepare or delegate the preparation of the dining area for all types of catering requirements, including function catering.
Qualifications and requirements:
* Enthusiastic and self‑motivated, able to undertake general kitchen duties.
* Approachable, understands diverse customer needs, flexible, adaptable and open to change, and able to respond to individual customer needs using appropriate communication methods.
* Hold an NVQ Level 2 Award in Hospitality and Catering Principles along with Level 2 Food Safety.
* DBS check required.
